Quick update for everyone playing this weekend! I've just pushed a hotfix to address a few inconsistencies, typos and grammar mistakes. I also enabled the quick menu and updated a few GUI assets. Restart your Steam client to grab the update!

I also want to give a massive thank you to everyone who bought the game on day one. Your support means everything.

The day is finally here! Mistbound Hearts Season 1 is officially available in Early Access! To celebrate the launch and thank everyone who has supported the project so far, you can grab the game with a 10% discount during this first week.

Transparency is my top priority. Before you hit the purchase button, I want you to know exactly what is included in today's build:

Today's Launch = Chapter 1: The current build contains Chapter 1 of the story.
Demo Players: Please note that this is the exact same content that was available in our recent demo. If you played the demo to completion, you have already seen what is in today's build.

So, why buy today? Because you are securing your ticket for the entire journey! Buying the game now gives you access to the base game and all future chapters of Season 1 as they are released.

🗓️ Chapter 2 is Coming NEXT WEEK!

You won't have to wait long for new content. I am putting the finishing touches on Chapter 2, and it will be released as an update for all owners March 12!

After that, we will settle into our regular Early Access rhythm, releasing a new chapter roughly every month as we build out the full 8-10 chapter season. (You can read our full development roadmap in yesterday's announcement).

Hello everyone!

The wait is almost over! I am incredibly excited to announce that Mistbound Hearts Season 1 is Launching Tomorrow in Early Access!

This project is a labor of love, and I am thrilled to finally share this world with you. To celebrate our launch, I'm offering a 10% discount during the first week!

🛑 What to expect: An Episodic Journey

Mistbound Hearts is being developed and released episodically. This means the story will grow and evolve right before your eyes.

Availible Tomorrow: You can jump straight into Chapter 1 today!
Coming Next Week: I am already putting the finishing touches on Chapter 2, which will be released as an update for all owners next week.
The Big Picture: After Chapter 2, my goal is to release a new chapter every month. We expect Season 1 to span between 8 to 10 chapters in total, depending on the depth and complexity of the story as it unfolds. So I expect the 1.0 by the end of this year.
Language & Platforms: Currently, the game is available in English and is compatible with Windows and Steam Deck.

🗺️ Development Roadmap: Beyond the Story

Early Access isn't just about adding new chapters; it’s about making the existing game better. With every new episode, I will also be working on:

Audio & Atmosphere: I am currently working on adding full Music and Sound Effects to bring the world of Mistbound Hearts to life.
Localization: Adding new languages is a top priority so more players can enjoy the story in their native tongue.
Expansion: Bringing the game to new platforms beyond Windows and Steam Deck.
Polish: Constant bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements to previous chapters based on your feedback.

Demo Feedback

I didn't play it through fully because I'm actually interested enough to wait for the full game. Renders and women are looking pretty good. My main issue was the lack of a soundtrack or at least ambient noise. I also noticed that at one point it seemed like people were speaking in the old fashioned medieval manner and then it shifted to a more modern tone. I think you can get away with either but you should choose one for consistency....

Decrease penis size while it's not too late!

As I see from the advertisement video main character's penis size is comically large. Of course in this kind of games large size is to be expected, but it should be limited by the laws of common sense and space-time continuum. It looks like the developer is trying to compensate something. So while you're still so early in development please enact a patch to deflate this snake while it still can be contained or else!...

Sincere Questions for the Dev and studio.

Greetings, nice to meet you! I am with the Visual novel dev watch and I'd like to ask some questions to keep things honest with the customer fanbase: 1) Is there a roadmap with progress, updates, etc? 2) Full release date to 1.0? 3) Does your VN come as one game, or in 'volumes', 'episodes', etc? 4) Do you use patreon or sub-star to collect monthly income from customers? 5) Do you have a discord server, and is it locked behind a paywall? 6) What is the time gap between chapters and or games? 1, 2, or 3+...

Looks interesting but....

This game looks interesting but don't waste your time until more development is made. This is a cash grab at this point and the dev will most likely never finish the game. Per the dev's own words: It has around an hour long introducing the world. An hour of gameplay for 15 dollars? Be patient and let this dev get their funding from Patreon as Steam players will be neglected. See the dev's comments about the game listed in early access in the store below. Claiming to not increase prices is a red flag. Wh...
