Demo Build Update Notes 0.10.4

Greetings, Warriors of Pyron,

The following issues have been fixed in the 0.10.4 update.

Please update the game and check the version number at the top-right of the title screen.

Fixed Issues

- Adjusted the option marker to move slightly faster

- Fixed a bug where the character would occasionally disappear when interacting with an altar

- Fixed a bug where the active controller was not recognized when multiple controllers were connected

Planned Fixes in Future Updates

Additionally, based on the valuable feedback you have provided, we plan to address the following control and UI-related issues in upcoming updates:

- Fixing bugs in the keybinding feature and improving UI usability

- Making in-game UI navigation more intuitive

- Adding an option to disable screen shake and the white flash effect when enemies attack

- Reducing the difficulty of “Adventurer’s Path” and “Traveler’s Path” modes

We are also reviewing various other improvements.

I played through to defeating the Guardian of Teradin in the highest difficulty “Legendary Flame” and reaching Undel Cave. My level at clear was 16. Even as a DEMO version, the optimization and key configuration were excellent, and combat was especially enjoyable. The Steam Demo has been updated to version 0.10.2.

Please update the game and check the version number displayed in the top-right corner of the title screen.

Fixes

- Fixed a bug where the key prompt for 'Ignite' was displayed as 'X+B' instead of 'LB+B' when playing with an Xbox controller

- Fixed an issue where the Seed Archer creature’s facing direction did not match the direction of its projectiles

Bug in the demo

Hi, I was enjoying the demo! Cool game. But the character disappeared when I tried using the first altar, after getting the fire ability. Enjoying otherwise!

Controller not working

I use an Xbox Series X controller to play Steam games, but even if I play other Steam games with the controller, and then try this demo, it never recognises my controller. Is there something I can do to fix this?

Do the devolopers recommend controller over mouse + keyboard?

For general gameplay feel. Or should both prove equally satisfying? I played a little bit of your demo. But I used mouse + keyboard. So I found myself having some moments of awkwardness in navigation, combat and menu usage. Menu scrolling uses A & D, Q & E, and Z & C. (Then F for confirmation.) The arrow keys are used to look off-screen. But you need one hand on WASD & your mouse attacks. So you can't move or attack, if you want to view your surroundings. (Don't know if there's any real platforming chal...
