🚀 The latest version of Ink Link (Demo) will be playable in the upcoming Steam Next fest! 🚀

I have some exciting news!

The Ink Link Demo has been out for a while now. In the meantime, I have been working hard to elevate the gameplay, fix bugs, and improve visuals, in prospect of the final official release early 2026.

In the upcoming Steam Next Fest, I will release the latest version of Ink Link and hope you will give it a try!

I’ve been gaming for years and it’s honestly rare for a game to hook me the way this one did. The gameplay is addictive in the best way, the pacing is on point, and it never feels unfair. Wins feel satisfying, losses make you want to come back stronger. That balance is hard to get right, and this game nails it. You can tell the developers understand what makes a game fun instead of just flashy. I’ve had a blast playing it and I’m definitely sticking around.

demo feedback

1) I tried playing with a controller, but I could only move my character; I couldn't talk to the NPC. I'm sure the keyboard mappings are fine for keyboard players, but I'd prefer controller support. Placing blocks can just auto-snap in front of the player, and teleporting can just target whichever block is closest to where the player is pointing the right analogue stick. 2) I don't like how the arrow tiles are hidden until you get close enough. The game has the "puzzle" tag, but this isn't solving a puzz...

playing the demo on linux/deck

linux desktop, ubuntu: i got it to work by forcing proton 9.0-4, for some reason experimental and hotfix don't work, but 9.0-4 always got my back. kokoa: ty for the demo btw, the game looks great, i'm about to play rn, just wanted to share what compatibility tools worked. have a nice next fest everyone
