A simple hidden object mini game conceals visual novel chapters and plenty of other extras, but only if you decide to download the free DLC.

The main gameplay takes place on a screen cluttered with items, and your task is to find a list of required objects before the timer runs out. What complicates things is that all items are 3D objects that bounce around when you click on them and rotate in random directions, so you sometimes cannot even tell what they represent. When you click an item to move it and identify it, you might accidentally knock away the object you actually need. The closest comparison is that everything feels like it is floating and moving in water.

Each level consists of several stages. Once you find all required items in one stage, the next stage begins immediately. The timer is restored, the list of items changes, and even more clutter is added to the screen. While the first few levels are fairly easy, the screen gradually becomes so crowded, and the items so similar to one another, that any real strategy disappears and you end up clicking on everything. The only other elements on the screen are a girl who jumps whenever you find an item, and the money you earn, which oddly has no use at this point.

Before the item mechanics become completely overwhelming and you get stuck searching for a single object, you can rely on a hint that highlights all required items at once. The highlight only lasts a few seconds, but the hint recharges quickly, although much more slowly in later levels, so it can be used multiple times. On top of that, the hint also recharges while the game is paused, during which the timer is stopped.

In practice, the game strongly pushes you to use the hint system. It is nearly impossible to find all items before the timer runs out otherwise, especially when many objects differ only in small details and are stacked on top of each other or crammed into corners. At that point, it is hard to even know where to begin.

There are thirteen levels in total, and finishing them all takes quite a while, depending largely on your patience. Nothing really changes as you progress, aside from a few different girls rotating on the screen. You unlock nothing of note except for an endless mode, which makes the game’s storage size of nearly 30GB feel surprising. The explanation lies in the free adult DLC, which makes the vanilla version feel almost pointless and unlocks the game’s true and far more expansive content.

With the DLC installed, you gain access to visual novel story chapters that are rewarded for completing the hidden object stages. Without the DLC, these chapters appear only as question marks and cannot be opened. It quickly becomes clear why the game takes up so much space, as everything is rendered in full 3D rather than static images. There is also a very high resolution option, but it is extremely demanding on your hardware and offers only a minimal visual improvement over lower settings.

The story places you in the role of a man who has gone bankrupt and is forced to work as a sailor on a ship. Eventually, you end up on an island where you uncover strange events centered around four girls, all presented in provocative situations. These include the boss’s daughter, his maid, a bodyguard, and later a savage woman encountered on the island.

There are many choices throughout the story. Some only affect dialogue, while others increase a girl’s affection level. More importantly, certain decisions lead to different intimate scenes. You can replay chapters to make alternate choices, but the process feels slower than it should because there is no quick skip option, forcing you to manually advance the text. There is also no ability to save progress between chapters.

The DLC also unlocks an extras menu filled with additional content. This includes a music player, a gallery of scenes and images unlocked during the visual novel segments, and two separate modes where you can spend the money earned from the hidden object gameplay.

Both modes feature over one hundred cards that unlock new outfits when purchased. However, the available selection is identical in both modes, meaning you have to buy everything twice. Despite the large number of cards, the variety is limited, as many are simply recolors of the same outfit or minor hairstyle changes. In either mode, selecting a purchased card transports you to a 3D environment where you can freely move the camera while the girl appears in front of you wearing the chosen outfit.

What you can do next depends on the mode. Figure mode allows you to manipulate parts of the character model, such as the head, arms, or thighs, functioning essentially as basic 3D rigging. Dance mode is slightly more engaging, letting you choose one of eight dance animations along with a song and simply watch. Even so, neither mode is particularly compelling, and their main purpose is to give you something to spend your in game currency on. Unlocking everything is also very grind heavy, requiring you to replay stages repeatedly.
