We're BACK!

We’re incredibly proud to announce another major milestone for Gunny Ascend:

7 new indie characters are officially joining our crossover roster, revealed in our brand-new Recruitment Trailer!

Alongside new story scenes, gameplay moments, and a closer look at some of Gunny Ascend’s world, this trailer introduces some incredible new guests joining our growing roster of 50+ indie characters.

Here are the newest recruits:

• Scout — PEAK

• Claire — A Short Hike

• Peppino — Pizza Tower

• Stanley — The Stanley Parable

• Soot Boy — Little Inferno

• Horse — Ultimate Chicken Horse

• Shovel Knight — Shovel Knight Pocket Dungeon

But that's not all.

The trailer also gives a glimpse into the story of Gunny Ascend and introduces members of Gunny’s crew, including Duen, the merchant who offers powerful new abilities, and Trader, who exchanges precious gems for new characters.

Each of these worlds, characters, and stories will collide inside Gunny Ascend, bringing new abilities, gameplay twists, chaos, and unforgettable moments to the adventure.

Very interesting game

Never thought about a game that combines tetris, platforming, and rougelike elements would exist yet here we are. It's pretty fun too. I see it has online pvp planned, have you thought about coop mode? A larger play area with multiple people sounds like it'd be fun. Not sure if you had a linux version planned or not but it ran flawlessly on my linux pc using proton. Don't see a reason why it wouldn't run on my steamdeck, but haven't tried it on there yet....

We’re incredibly proud to announce a major highlight of our crossover project:
more than 10 indie characters from Latin America will be joining Gunny Ascend and we announced it on LAGS (Latin American Game Showcase) Game Awards edition! 🎉

This is one of the biggest celebrations of LATAM indie talent we've ever done, and each character brings a piece of their culture, community, and universe into our chaotic roguelite.

Hi, indie fans!

We’re beyond excited to finally reveal one of the biggest surprises we’ve been working on for Gunny Ascend:

A massive crossover with 30+ indie characters making their way into our chaotic roguelite adventure.

Today, with the release of our Official Crossover Reveal Trailer, we’re confirming the first 4 characters joining Gunny Ascend:

🧑‍🚀 Crewmate (Among Us)
🥛 Francis the Milkman (That’s Not My Neighbor)
🟩 Edge (Planet Cube: Edge)
💎 Amy (Wind and Water: Puzzle Battles)

This is just the beginning, these are the first 4 out of more than 30 indie legends that will be playable in the final game. Each one will bring unique abilities set and personality into the chaos of Gunny Ascend, while also honoring the original spirit of the games they come from.

Feedback: some core complaints

1. Not being able to see piece shapes before picking them up... I see how it adds to the hectic feeling of the game, but it just takes out a massive part of the fun of a falling block puzzle game for me. I wanna anticipate what I'm going to do with a piece as it falls. 2. I found the placement mechanics frustrating. It benefits the player to overlay blocks this way, but it just feels kinda like always having the concrete power-up in Egg Mania or something. Like, it's not connecting with the fundamental jo...
