Hey everyone!

We've finally excited to show you some of the new content we've been working on through the new demo!

Thank you for all the feedback we've received over the past few months. We've made lots updates - from minimap issues, to progression systems, level design, game feel and much more. Super excited to show what we have been working on!

The latest demo features :

New levels
New secrets
New upgrade/inventory systems
New mechanics
New enemies
New cutscenes
and many more!

Any feedback and bug reports you have after trying out the new demo, are as always, very welcome!

Game Font & Demo Feedback

This game is so good. The music, art style, level design, combat, and progression are all excellent. But wow... I have to say, I think the font choice is a miss (in my opinion). It's very rounded and smooth, which stands out against the rest of the game's visual style. Have you considered using a more blocky, or even pixelated, font? I think it would fit the overall aesthetic much better. The game absolutely oozes style. Don't let the font be the one thing that feels out of place. Anyway, here's the rest ...

Hi everyone!

Welcome to another devlog! A huge thank you for all your constant support towards our game, it keeps us motivated everyday.

For the past few months, we’ve been busy making new playable areas and content for the game. We’ve also made tons of improvements based on all the feedback we have received.

We're super excited to share a sneak peek into some of the content we’ve been working on, let’s dive into it!

New areas to explore and more secrets to uncover. Any guesses what could be inside this chest?

New Year Post & Mini Devlog

Happy New Year, everyone! Hope 2026 has been treating you well so far.

As we head into a new year, we wanted to share a small glimpse of what we’ve been working on. Development on Sojourn Past has been moving along nicely. We also have something to announce later this year, and we’re really excited to share it when the time comes.

Moving on, here’s a couple of updates you haven’t seen yet, unless you’re already following us on X or YouTube! ;)

Here’s a sneak peek of a new area in the game where soft light slips through and water echoes gently, what secrets do you think this cave holds?

A new enemy! Do you have any name suggestions for this little fellow? What kind of attacks do you think he has?

We’ve got even more exciting announcements and updates for later this year, so stay tuned.

Incredibly solid demo. (Feedback.)

The game is beautiful and runs smoothly (on my humble PC). The combat is pretty solid mechanically. The map might be one of the more useful maps that I've seen. The direction (on where to go) and secrets were understandable/enjoyable to find. The demo let me save. (Thank you.) If you were inspired by Hyper Light Drifter, I can definitely see it. You sold me. Though I do have tiny nitpicks and suggestions too. The audio feedback for hitting enemies should have more impact. (It sounds like your slapping...

Art and sound design are wonderful.

I don't even really know what's going on, particularly with what I'm guessing is the skill tree, but the pairing of crystalline sound effects with your art style is so satisfying.

"Soft lock"

Hey! Check out this screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/aleZiM6 I managed to lock myself inside, i did it by leaving the dagger here where I am, then I locked the door hitting the thing down below, and then teleported to the dagger. It's not really a lock since I can teleport back to the fast travel point, but it's kind of annoying. Overral great game, I'm leaving it on my wishlist and wish you the best!...

Dagger teleport rebind?

I cannot figure out how to rebind the button for teleporting to the dagger. The option just seems to be missing from the menu.
