‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ ‎ Exploration sits at the core of the game. Your Core won’t survive on its own, you’ll need to expand, gather resources, and continuously improve your defenses to keep up with the growing threats.

But this planet doesn’t make it easy. A toxic fog covers the surface, slowly damaging your prisoner the deeper you go. Every expedition is a trade-off: push further for better rewards, or play it safe and risk falling behind.

The further you venture from your Core, the more valuable the resources become. These rare materials are key to unlocking higher technology tiers, automating your production, and building stronger defenses to survive the increasingly aggressive swarms.

If you stay too close to your Core, you’ll quickly hit a wall. Progression is tied to how far you’re willing (and able) to explore and secure new areas.
We’re especially curious to hear how this feels during the playtest:

• Do you feel encouraged to explore?

• Or does it feel too punishing?

Exploration is your main driver of progression:

• New resources → unlock advanced crafting and automation

• New technologies → access stronger structures, weapons, and systems

• Better defenses → essential to survive the escalating threats

Let us know if the rewards feel meaningful enough, or if something is missing.

The deeper you go, the more dangerous it gets. You’ll encounter increasingly hostile creatures hidden in the fog, ready to punish unprepared players. Going out without proper upgrades or a loadout can quickly turn into a bad run. We’d love your feedback on this balance:

• Is the fog too oppressive or not enough?

• Are enemies too punishing early on?

• Do you feel properly prepared before going out?

PS: Not all enemies are in the game yet, so you won’t encounter every type during this playtest. Here’s a sneak peek at the Harpy’s behavior.
