Hello, I've played Eve Online, Elite Dangerous and Distant Worlds. I was told X games are in the same tone. With the origin collection on sale. I could pick up BTF, tensions and The threat. But I am kinda torn on this one I dont mind old graphics but I have a few questions.. All games show Gold or Silver rating on Protondb - does the story and gameplay still hold up ? does the ui scale ? do I need additional files or mod to get it properly running ? And if I start with these 3 games - how much of the ...

I wanted to play some of the old x games and I was not sure where to start.

I want to be BFFs with the Xenon and pirates, or at the very least not screw up my reputation with the pirates, bc I still want to be able to trade with pirates in the future. Is it possible to conduct second-party operations (e.g. hiring freighters to transport goods) with the pirates without decreasing my reputation with other races? Also, what does a good reputation even give you? Like a better buy:sell ratio or something?...

So...I have no idea what happened but it was all going perfectly well, had no issues running the game in fact it runs like a dream. But since I loaded a save game I started seeing weird things going on. First off my two ore mines in Seizewell have never sold 1 unit of ore, despite there having many factories which depend on it and my prices are at minimum. Per the internet (Google) I should be getting 138 Energy Cells to a Crystal; but I'm only getting 20 :(. (or Maybe 20 to 60). Based on my original calculations I was getting 63. (36 Crystals added to an empty SPP and received 2,270). In an effort to figure out what was happening, I added 'Just' 2 Crystals, and received 20 more Energy Cells. Either way... I'm wayyyy below what the Internet is telling me I should be getting. So my question is: Did something change... am I missing a bigger point... What ...
