We have just released Update 1.1 for Disciples: Domination for all available platforms. This Update includes several fixes for issues reported during Early Access like missing quest markers and localization fixes. We are also already working on further updates, so please stay tuned and enjoy your time in Nevendaar.

Fixes

Fixed an issue where Avyanna’s Dwarves Armor effects still were a placeholder.
Fixed an issue that could lead to a softlock during a boss encounter due to a shard.
Fixed an issue where the Chapter IV title was misplaced.
Fixed an issue where a secret wall was not interactable with controller in Maw of Ashes.
Fixed unresponsive settings menu on remote play
Mainquest Abandoned Mines – fixed incorrect markers being displayed
The Rock Eater side quest – quest marker added.
The Magic Painter side quest – quest marker added.
Diplomatic Crisis side quest – quest marker added.
A Beautiful Lie side quest – quest marker added.
Fixed an issue leading to a Settings softlock due to a dynamic resolution issue
Fixed an issue with a translucent visual blocker in a secret room
Updated the Legion Region Map with missing quest icons.
Fixed an issue where the Free cam movement was blocked near the Temple of Cinders entrance in Wulf Coast region
Fixed an issue where the Audio was breaking for the Half-Born during combat
Multiple localization fixes
Fixed multiple issues related to the navigation mesh.
Added TAA Details enhancement to improve visuals sharpness.

How could you fail so hard at writing, devs...

First area after the Prologue... Avy is the bloody Queen of Nevendaar, and yet here we are being forced to play along with a Duchess's whims, instead of getting to order her to do as her Monarch commands?! Way to make the player feel like they are playing a ruler......

I was expecting better!!

I mean look how amazing Disciples 2 was. Why go with HOMM style of battle and map movement??? The original combat system was fun, interesting and balanced.

After playing through the 1st chapter... I'm left thoroughly disappointed, to the point where it's genuinely hard to believe that this work of mediocrity and utterly unnecessary steps back in terms of both gameplay and narrative is actually from the same devs that made Liberation.

Where Liberation gave you the choice of having Avy follow either the Angel/Good, Demon/Evil or Nephilim/Neutral paths and her dialogue/personality and VA's attitude changing with your choices, in Domination all that is gone... Avy sounds and talks like a whiny teenager goodie-twoshoes, with the player having zero options to change that whatsoever.

Then there's the overall mediocre writing, the plethora of pathetically easy words having been spelled wrong, which is clear-cut evidence that there hasn't been a single iota of QA for this game... all this together paints a pretty clear picture as to why the devs kept delaying the Steam Release as long as possible to avoid the bad reviews.

But that's not all:
On top of all that, the keybindings only randomly persist from session to session, your gear sometimes get randomly unequipped without the game telling you so, the companion dialogue at the Castle keeps resetting so any time you talk to any of them, they go through their whole initial introduction spiel over and over and over again... and all their dialogue options are then STILL marked as new/unread, despite the fact that a) you've just suffered through the introduction for the umpteenth time and b) that you already have seen the other options as well.

This game feels like an unpolished Beta that's in dire need of QA... definitely cannot recommend a purchase at full price, even if you can live with the fact that this sequel fails utterly to live up to its predecessor, never mind improving upon it in any meaningful way.

Windows 11 only?!

Wow wow wow, check minimal requirements: OS Windows 11. Devs... the hell... I am on Windows 10, bought laptop just before Windows 11 and won't change it to 11 since I know how Microsoft will poop on me with Key License. I just feel how much negative reviews you will get in this 1 week. This is so bad news, same as Sony on Helldivers 2 which I bought and "unable to play in your region" (Kazakhstan)...

New player : werewolf unit?

Just asking. I read somewhere there is werewolves in the game. As a recrutable unit? I'm a Heroes of Might and Magic player and I always loved beastmen unit. Thanks.

The gameplay's just is so robotic.

It's missing soul.

Feels like AI just crafted a RPG.

It's not bad, but not worth $45 bucks.

Get it on sale.

I am a disciples 2 veteran that actually enjoys these new Disciples games as well.

Excellent tactical RPG that uses the Classic Disciples lore mixed with King's Bounty overworld and combat.

The new Disciples games focus on Avyanna to create a focused story while you build your favorite team and main character skills.

If you like the original King's Bounty games, enjoy dark fantasy RPG's or, enjoyed Liberation you will like this new release.
