Bringing Order to PAX East 2025 – More Officials Enlisted to Serve the Nation!

Welcome back, Officer!

On May 8-11, we were visiting PAX East for the first time, showcasing the demo of Compensation Not Guaranteed. Many people are interested in becoming a newly appointed officer.

We're grateful for our first offline showcase of the year at PAX East 2025, which gathered more audience than we ever expected. Compensation Not Guaranteed wasn’t a game people expected to be published under Toge Productions, and it quickly captured the attention and curiosity of our fans at PAX. They were delighted to discover it among the various indie games being showcased at the booth.

The Toge crews flew from Indonesia to Boston to help with organizing the booth. Not to mention, our incredible community volunteers from various parts of the United States were also present to lend a hand. With the demo released just last month, people were eager to play it and meet some of the game's quirky characters. Many instantly fell in love with the experience and left ready to become the next recruit to help serve the country better!

When a new nation is born, the help of the people is needed!

Welcome to the office. It's your first day at the job!

Serve your country as a government officer tasked with compensating the land of the people. As you learn the job on the fly, you must authenticate the documents and compensate the people - if they are true to their words! Not everyone is friendly and wants to cooperate. You need to be firm (or lenient) with them while maintaining the goal of restructuring the country!

You must let every citizen receive fair treatment.

Learn the factional politics of surrealist post-colonial Southeast Asia, where many tensions arise between the people and the country. Accompanied by hand-drawn anthropomorphic characters, learn the stories of different lives and how you will act around them. Your decision to compensate the people will affect the progress of the story.

The Toge crews are also present at the booth, where we will guide you on how to win some awesome goodies and merchandise. Be sure to follow the event and have a chance to win official merchandise. There will be a few daily winners and daily grand prize!

I like the game play but the premise...

It's so painful. I want to like this game but I just can't get behind the premise.

Another Dialogue Bug

Hello! I am loving the demo so far, but I encountered a bug during the end of the first day. Bobby stops by the desk and asks how the day has gone so far, and the dialogue choices pop up, but I cannot click on either of them. I can hear the clicking sound when I try, and I can also click on other objects, but I cannot progress past the conversation. Best of luck!...
