I am unfortunately so obsessed with this game that I've started seeing my neighbors windows as points of entry to meet my quota irl.

Ignore the bad reviews, this game is absolutely hilarious and fairly well designed. Start is a bit rough and can feel junky, but you get surprised with how coherent the gameplay actually is (for a typical 'simulator' game) and it's satisfying to progress and unlock stuff. It's really a level higher than your usual slop simulator game. Got sucked in for a week.

I just wish I didn't have to hear an NPC say "SUCH A BORING DAY" for the 500th time this night, especially after casually walking through where his front door and rare paintings USED to be just an hour ago, after a police raid and getting tased twice. 10/10 recommend

Here is some of what the game needs:

a main menu rework, 4 save files is wack, for starters. but i shouldnt have to click 'save slots' to change files either. if i click 'play game' it shouldnt jump me straight into the game, you want a 'continue' option for that. i switch between files a lot and delete some regularly so the whole process isnt practical.

change book spawn locations to literally be anywhere like golden cards, otherwise it is predictable to farm those locations.

rocks are in set spawn locations even though i can find rock textures all over the place.

some items you'd think you should be able to steal you simply cant(all the thief sim games do this and it is always infuriating) wtf do you mean i cant steal your neat little golden gazelle desk statue???? stfu

fill out the areas with at least 1-2 more new houses. each area has empty space where you go 'were they planning to fill that in, orrr?'

crime related modes not thief centric would be nice as well. knocking people out and it lasting a minute, or killing people and it only lasting a night makes this more crime lite and another thief simulator sequel.

ffs please let me buy a new house. make me have to buy it piece by piece like in DDS. hell, let me accept drop off missions of drugs at night while im tryna thieve. arson missions(on some tyler durden ♥♥♥♥, make them public statues or art that dont fix themselves and break immersion like seeing someone you killed be fine the next day)?

more furniture items to have a variety for personal a personal goal and be able to make nice personal homes for the bros. you want crime to pay right? lemme show it

The decibel meter for the stethoscope occasionally bugs out and doesnt display.

things in the furniture store need to be about 15-25% cheaper

money printing machine doesnt work AND costs 5k.

how are you gonna have a crime simulator&& heist mode, AND the audacity to not give me any bank to rob?

placing things in this game is doodoo. the game will let you accidentally place things in the wall, then because it shouldnt be there will launch the item and BAM the item is worth like $100 less. Made weirder when you realize that sometimes when trying to place an item the game will say "this cant be placed here" so there IS some system running in the background that should be optimized better to actually work and stop making me lose money for nothing.

advanced hacking minigame needs to give 5 attempts instead of 4 since things are purely rng and bad luck rolls would still need 6 attempts to pass.

im going to not recommend this game until i can get some feedback on anything i listed so i know the devs will see it if they care. i love the game *premise *, ive put countless hours into DDS, tried DDS2, played schedule 1, drug lord, thief simulator, thief simulator 2, thief simulator 80s. (firm believer in the new GTA6 needs some of these mechanics BADLY), so i'd like to think i've got decent enough ideas to what these franchises need, what areas they're good in and ofc lacking. i like the game, nice fun with one of the bros to coordinate plans on, but definitely needs work. Feels like it gave up some of the variety in thief simulator to add light violence and little timing minigame for weed. this game could be amazing if given the right love. this franchise could even teach GRAND THEFT AUTO a thing or two. but im assuming the teams that work on these are very small and indie. the idea is there, but i need either drive or passion to see this become as good as it could be.
