PATCH NOTES 1.0.2:

First and foremost, thank you all for supporting Pakinpaks, everyone! We just got home and we're adapting ourselves to our new baby, so updates from us may be a bit sparse until we get everything sorted out around here :)

We'll keep making fixes, QOL and improvements to the game, there are things that I still want to tackle but will take a bit longer (like transition stutters and stuff like that).

For now, here's what we managed to do:

QOL:

- When you hover your cursor over a placed piece, tooltips will also be shown if you are hovering any special cell below
- ESC now works to quit from most menus, including confirmation prompts

Improvements:

- Improved property icon position for piece shapes where the icon would usually be outside the piece's cells (like Headphones and Float)

Bugfixes:

- Fixed ESC not working on Level Selection
- Fixed interactions between Annie's peculiarities and Chameleon (like when Chameleon got Sandy and permanently dropped sand during Annie's levels)
- Fixed transition inconsistencies on Infinite Modes
- Fixed removing placed piece when releasing the Zoolaroid
- Fixed a case where hints could be activated while a dialogue was happening
- Fixed some wrong wildcards on PT-BR strings
- "Rotate Piece" cue now appears on 0-2 even if you have "Skip All Dialogues" active

This past week has been crazy for us. Just a few days ago, our first child was born. We now have a daughter! And today, we're thrilled to announce that another huge day we've been waiting for is finally here!

What can you expect in the release version?

Cozy Travel Mode - Travel around the world and complete levels in different biomes alongside BonBon. Beat 69 levels we've hand-prepared for you and fulfill client requests.

Infinite Modes - 3 different infinite modes, each with unique playstyles.

Zen Infinite Mode - Unwind and pack at your own pace. Face an endless stream of procedurally generated bags, each requiring you to fit increasingly complex shapes. No time limits, no move caps. Just pure, peaceful packing.
Rush Mode - Race against the clock! Pack as many bags as you can before time runs out. Each successfully packed bag adds a bit more time. See how long you can keep going.

Brainy Mode - Every move counts! You have a limited number of moves, so plan carefully before placing each piece. Strategy is the key to success.

BonBon Customization - Customize BonBon to your heart's content! Change his fur pattern, colors, clothes, and hats. You can even make him look like your own cat if you'd like. And please share your customized BonBon along with a picture of your cat on our Discord[discord.gg] so we can give them virtual pats.

This game is so cozy and fun! It's clear that the developers put a ton of time and energy into making this really well thought-out puzzle game. If you get stumped on a puzzle there's a "hint" option to help you be successful and have fun. The locations that you travel to in order to help animals pack are so colorful and immersive, and the dialogue between characters is very endearing. The customizations for your cat are adorable as well. I'm loving this game so far and highly recommend it!

Rush mode suggestion

I golded all the main levels and that final Fifo level definitely bent my brain pretty well! I feel though rush mode suffers in the loading between locations and kills the flow. If you haven't already planned for it, maybe if you can pick one aesthetic (or the player can pick their setting/mood) and cycle the levels through would be more satisfying...

Enjoyed the Demo – Cute and Fun Puzzle Gameplay

Hi! I wanted to share some feedback after trying the demo. I really enjoyed the cute art style and overall presentation. The visuals are very charming and made the experience feel fun and relaxing. I also had a lot of fun with the puzzle mechanics. The problem-solving aspect kept me engaged and made the gameplay enjoyable without feeling too difficult. Overall, I had a great experience with the demo and I’m looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing it!...

problem with rotation of objects

i am playing with a Wacom Pen. i have actually a middle mouse key on it but it doesn't work in this game, F on my keyboard doesn't do anything either. i wanted already to give up but then thought to give the zoom thingy on my Wacom Tablet a try & voila it did work, sometimes, every 5th time or so & not smooth but jerky. so while i have absolutely hard time to rotate the objects, i have absolutely zero problems to rotate the case smooth as the softest of all butter in the world ever. WHY, just WHY ?...

Demo Feedback

This is great! I really enjoyed it and loved the vibe and the especially the bear. The only difficulty I had was in picking the colors for my cat. I get the idea of being able to adjust them but maybe add a few "standard" colors so I don't spend so much time trying to figure out how to get orange? Thank you!! Super cute game!...

This is fun! I love everything about it so far. The characters, dialogue, graphics, art style, puzzle mechanics and music are all great. It's relaxing and challenging. Well done!
