The game is really really fun! However I do have some thoughts; I feel as if you dont even need to farm. Seeds seem to be rather expensive, so I've gone this whole time barely even farming, not wanting to spend any tickets on seeds. Maybe I'm just bad at gaming idk. But the game is really fun and I genuinely enjoy the mines and the characters. I just wish there was more reason to actually farm.

Such a fun game to just turn off your brain and relax to. I like the bartering aspect of this game, makes it slightly more complex than Stardew Valley, but not so much where I have to think super hard. Also, I've been playing this on my PC and Steam Deck and find it great on both platforms! There are a few kinks with the Steam Deck version, but nothing that'd make me stop playing

This game is so genuine and sweet. Those comparing it to stardew valley maybe saw the pixel graphics and general setting feel and assumed it to be the same, but how they approach different mechanics, how they interact with people, even how you buy things is totally different and unique.

-Mines: you look for keys to a door to go to the next room. But instead of the mines being a room per level, it is per map, and you're basically searching for the "boss" at the end of a generated series of rooms that you can freely move between

-Money: there is no money, but contribution and bartering. For basic items and materials, you trade goods, but for "important" things, like recipes and rare materials, you trade in contribution, which is given through standard use of the shipping box. Similar to roots of pacha, but different.

-Recipes: Each one has a (toggle-able) puzzle or series of mini game to complete, to make you "feel" like you're actually learning the thing you're trying to make. Herb gathering is also a mini game and so is taming beasts (kind of, you're trying to appease them with different foods)

-MANUAL SAVE AND MULTIPLE SLOTS PER SAVE: important for backloading or even just different marriage candidates, which is so convenient

-People: varied and different and very sweet, with all kinds for all folks. (same sex marriage is allowed, by the way)

There's a lot that is pretty standard to the farming sim genre, like the farming, villagers, livestock, but it really expands upon it with a very beautiful chinese world, with lots of lore and beautiful decorations, all with a very laid back peaceful village with lots of open ended quests, I am in love with it and I've only played just a tiny bit.

I think it is VERY worth it, especially if you just want something to relax to.
