Yes, you can play Gloomy Eyes in 3D in VR or a 3D display using the completely free Geo-11 3D driver. No, this game is NOT already VR, the VR game on Steam is a completely different game based on the same IP. The VR version is a 360 movie short. This "pancake" version is a narrative-driven horror adventure puzzle game.

I don't know why the developers didn't make this a VR game. It would have been perfect for VR. Maybe they were afraid of a 3rd person adventure game in VR not being accepted. However, they would have been wrong. This game screams VR. Well, we may not have VR, but playing it 3D in VR shows off the potential.

This game looks gorgeous in 3D. Absolutely stunning & pure eye candy. There is no better way to experience this game. Although there is no specific fix for this game, the 3D looks perfect or near perfect. VR is tailor-made for games with differing perspectives! I did not notice any issues.

Rather than emphasizing challenge or mechanical depth, the game focuses on delivering a tightly crafted, emotionally resonant journey that blends storytelling, light puzzles, and striking visual design into a cohesive whole.

This game was very fun. If you like puzzles games and hidden object games then this is right up your alley. Nothing is inherently obvious and nothing is insanely hard, there's a nice middle ground where you have to put in a little work to solve the puzzles and not lose your mind. I was drawn to this game initially for the animation and art which is absolutely stunning. I really like the plot as well, it is definitely different, but in the best possible way. I also love how exaggerated the character's features are.
