gonna post a review when I'm done but a few things in the meantime. - settings should be available in the main menu. - bug: esc puts the game in windowed mode on top of bringing up the pause menu. - bug: audio settings aren't saved between sessions. - bug: when placing a desert tile, the 'you have no cards to discard' text always comes up, whether there's a card to discard or not. - there's a ridiculous amount of typos. I started writing them down but gave up. the whole ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ text needs proofreading...

I had a game now with a lot of desert on it and I had the impression that all cards gained from it (like tablets) get in the front of the draw pile. I never gained any other random card I picked anymore.

I was trying to see if the "animation speed" setting would speed up the end of round score tally, which it appears not. I ignored it for a bit, then thought "maybe it just hasn't registered, I'll return to menu" Well apparently returning to menu ends your game with no warning or notice. No save, no continue. Can you change this? I imagine many people want to pause/come back later to the game OR at least know they are losing their progress if they exit....

think this would help with longevity and finding synergies

Maybe make it clear that choosing this resets your card progress.
