A small update with major polish for discover tab. Now you can try/preview crosshairs fast before subscribing. Then support for mouse cursor buttons and a few fixes based on you feedback ❤️

UPDATES

NEW: Add input support for mouse buttons 4 and 5.
BUFF: Show live crosshairs instead of preview images in Discover tab.
FIX: UI hitbox problems seen when multimonitor DPI scaling is mismatched.
FIX: Zoom adjust hotkeys not saving.

Not Starting Up

I used the free option and really like the draw option when creating a crosshair however I bought this one on steam and it won't run, i've tried many diffrent settings and optimiations for it to work but nothing, when i launch it it says starting up or whatever and then immedatly just go back to launch, like launch the game as if i never opened the app kind of deal...

1.4.0+ Bugs (maybe general bug thread?)

I like where this application is going, and there seems to be much less of a performance hit now. However, in a short time testing in Splitgate 2 in borderless windowed mode and YoloX in both Vsync and 75hz-limited mode, on a 3070Ti, I have encountered some bugs: -Invert/Subtract mode do not work in Direct Blend mode, if that's even possible (in a previously described manner, Subtract does not show at all, and Invert makes the crosshair show up opaque if full-white, some sort of half-opacity if full-color,...

Quite a bit here. The bulk of the effort went into a rewrite of the audio sensor involving a bunch of DSP and HRTF maths. This means a more accurate audio sensor oriented around short impact events (footsteps, shots). It also means more accurate direction recognition leading to a new audio Sonar mode - give it a try with the new crosshairs "Unity Teal/Pink" 🎉

The rest is mostly polish and fixes based on feedback ❤️

UPDATES

NEW: Rewrite audio sensor with full DSP and HRTF considerations oriented around impact events (footsteps, shots, etc).
NEW: Added sonar mode to audio sensor to visualize audio direction.
NEW: Crosshairs "Unity Teal" and "Unity Pink" that include sonar mode zoom.
NEW: Support all controllers (not just XBox).
NEW: Add motion sensor to controllers (left/right analog stick).
NEW: Add crash handling. This is to investigate an issue with YoloX not starting from Steam start button for some folks.
BUFF: Change zoom increments to 0.1 from 0.5. Change min to 1.1x from 1.5x.
BUFF: Will now launch if yolox.exe has "run as admin" property instead of showing an error.
BUFF: Compliance Mode: Cleanup old renamed files and simplify naming.
FIX: Janky feedback when using motion sensor.
FIX: Hotkeys using scroll wheel getting stuck.
FIX: Ensure menu shows over a fullscreen game (when using hotkey CTRL SHIFT L).
FIX: Crash when switching between Zoom and other layers in Create tab.

TODO

NEW: Polish community browser. Show actual crosshair immediately instead of a preview image.

Changing crosshair while zoomed?

I've been struggling to figure this out as I'm new to the software, and for the most part I've gotten it right. I basically want a more standard crosshair for normal play, then when I zoom in, replace the crosshair with a dot. I've tried this and while standing still, this works. But if I move, the old crosshair appears on top of the dot one. Basically I feel I'm overlooking something to get this working and wondering what it is, or if it's even possible?...

How exactly does the Audio feature work on a technical level?

There are some oddities I notice and inquiries I have about how the Audio feature works under the hood that affect how I would like to use it: -I can't figure out the workings of the gain function/variable for Audio (or if it scales to some registered maximum volume to respond to), and it can often be inconsistent between times when in-game/app and Windows volume mixer volume settings change (which can be observed by wildly varying both volume settings), or when YoloX overlay gets enabled/disabled or show...

This is mainly a performance fix when using certain crosshairs. Added a few quick QoL fixes.

UPDATES

FIX: Recenter if changing desktop resolution.
FIX: Persist hide toggle better.
FIX: Remove Vsync. It causes performance issues with the included overlay, and isnt used in gamebar. A default 90 FPS limit is applied instead.

YoloX is great, it has a ton of features that can enhance your gameplay, fun to use and easy enough to setup and customize, my only problem is that it somehow uses 25% of my CPU even if its just running on the background without anything else from it being used. (My setup isn't that good so it may not be much of an issue for beefier builds)
