We're excited to share news about the NAKWON: LAST PARADISE Closed Alpha Test.

Compared to the Pre-Alpha Test held in 2023,

this test will provide a much bigger variety of content, including diverse survival actions and housing features.

We encourage you to apply for the tester program starting Feb 12th (Thu). 

• March 2026

• Specific start/end dates will be announced separately.

• Steam

• Only participants aged 18 and older are eligible.

• Access will be granted to selected testers sequentially. You will receive a Steam notification when you have been granted access.

• Applications are available from Feb 12th (Thu) until the test end date, and testers will be selected throughout the test period.

• Accounts that participated in the Pre-Alpha Test can access the game during the test period without a separate application. The application button will appear as already clicked.

• North America and parts of East Asia

• The test is primarily targeted at North America and parts of East Asia with the exception of Pre-Alpha Test participants, who can access the game regardless of their region.

• However, to ensure a stable play environment, matchmaking may be delayed or unavailable depending on network conditions.

• We have updated the PC requirements since the Pre-Alpha Test.

• For optimal gameplay, please update Windows and your graphics driver to the latest versions.

• The PC requirements are subject to change, and the finalized requirements will be announced later via the Steam store and official announcements.

• English, Korean, and Chinese (Simplified/Traditional)

• The NAKWON: LAST PARADISE Closed Alpha Test is conducted without an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement). You can stream, record, or share the content of the game.

• When the test ends, all game data including nicknames will be reset.

This test is part of our process to create a better survival experience. We will build a better NAKWON with the help of your gameplay data and feedback.

Test-related announcements and feedback surveys will also be conducted through our Official Discord[discord.com], so please feel free to share your feedback.

NAKWON offers a variety of content, including NPC quests, quests delivered via NAKWON Chat, the main story, and the request board.

While we’re not able to share detailed progress updates at this time, we’re continuing to refine and prepare the game to deliver a more complete, high-quality gameplay experience.

Although the content that we’ve posted doesn’t include any Easter eggs, we believe that what we’ve shared so far has some hints about the direction NAKWON is heading.

We understand that some aspects may not fully come across yet. We look forward to presenting a clearer, more direct look at the game in the near future.

Firearms are broadly divided into two types: factory grade weapons from pre-apocalypse, and improvised firearms built post-apocalypse. Improvised weapons are generally less reliable and lower-performing than factory-made ones.

In particular, low-end improvised firearms are designed to be disposable. They come loaded with a limited number of rounds and are meant to be discarded once those rounds are spent. They can also malfunction (e.g., jam), requiring a brief action to clear before firing again.

We apply realistic ballistics to all firearms, with weapon-specific settings for range, bullet speed, reloading, and grouping, which results in distance-based changes in accuracy and shot spread.

Our main goal is to keep firearms rare and impactful without undermining core gameplay, and we’ll continue refining this through future tests and community feedback.
