Thanks for playing WorldShaper Idle! This patch has just a few small bug fixes:
- Three Steam achievements didn't work, but now do
- A late game tile bonus description has been fixed
If you spot more bugs, please let me know on my Discord or the Steam forums and I'll fix them asap!

Does the progress from demo and playtest transfer to the full game?

I played the demo a few months ago and I am considering buying the full game, but I would prefer to start from nothing again. Does the progress transfer, and if yes, is it possible to completely reset the game?

WorldShaper Idle Is Out Now!

I'm happy to announce WorldShaper Idle has finally been released today! You can now start building your awesome Human and Elven worlds and become a great worldshaping god!

There's plenty of content to play on release, including over 250 tiles to discover and over 100 unique bonuses!

Bundles

The game is also available in various bundles with other amazing idle and world building games! So be sure to check them out if you want two games for a better price! For example, you grow a happy village in the charming Weather Dragger, or a more apocalyptic one in Hexagod. Become a skeleton shopkeep in Skeleseller or build a farm in MR FARMBOY. Build a cozy island in Ropuka's Idle Island, or mine asteroids in Space Rock Breaker. Or maybe DO NOT feed the virus or DO feed a black hole! You can also get all three of my Steam games in a bundle! WorldShaper Idle Will Be Released May 18!

I'm happy to announce WorldShaper Idle will be released May 18, 2026! I'm spending a few more months on making the game even better and I'm excited to release it after that!

If you're interested in the game, a wishlist would be very welcome!

I also updated the demo to include some quality of life improvements, including some suggested by players!

Fun, relaxing, a bit of a board-game feel. I've only actively played for a bit over an hour, but that's several (short) world-building sessions already! Worth the price for me.

This game nails the core appeal of incremental world‑building: simple components that interlock into surprisingly deep systems. Experimenting with tile synergies and optimizing layouts for income creates a satisfying loop that’s easy to fall into. If you’ve played The Final Earth 2, the developer’s design DNA is unmistakable — approachable mechanics layered with smart progression. Picked it up immediately after seeing the release email, and it’s already proving to be a great decision.

There's just something fun about building a world out of 2D squares and discovering new combos and setups to get new tiles and more income. If you played The Final Earth 2 by this dev and liked it there's a pretty good chance you'll enjoy this one too. Grabbed it this morning as soon as I saw the email that it had been released and really happy I did.

The price in PLN is too high.

We have to pay for this game nearly as much as people in Switzerland, which has one of the highest GDP per capita in the world, and we also pay considerably more than people paying in USD and EUR. This is absurd, the dev should consider lowering the price, if that happens, I might buy it....

Loved stop the darkness, final earths 1 & 2, but was kind of disapointed. Your games have such a fun progression to them with a good amount of depth and it's super satisfying to find another unlock, integrate it & optimise it but feel like this falls down in an idle game framework. am feeling more frustration than anything waiting for points to accumulate and it really takes away from what makes your games great. it doesnt have the same feeling of exploration & piecing together your other stuff has and rat...

random quality of life UI feature requests

rotate selection undo last action name saved maps copy selection to clipboard, then clear/load map, then paste from clipboard 'clear' selections (as in: fill it with fields) or maybe even fill with specified terrain if tile count is activated in the tile journal when the game is closed, it should still be activated next time the game starts wizards lighthouse should show uniqueness markers just like wizard bonus in villages does mouse-over of o...

How many tiles in the demo?

I'm playing the demo and I discovered 97 different tiles in my tile journal so far. Some through pure coincidence and luck, some with systematic testing. Some of the tiles have very specific conditions (like building a Sand Witches' Village without accidantally making it a Glass Witches' Village instead). I still have a single locked spot left that is sandwiched between two unlocked ones, making it look like it should be unlockable. How many tiles have you guys found in the demo? No spoilers...
