Every jump seems to be a frame perfect trick that you have to decode. Control is extremely stiff, with almost no air control and you come to screeching halt the instant you hit the ground - I understand this was lifted from super metroid but you have to consider if that's a good idea or not. If you die right after a used respawn point you get moved even further back. It's like the respawn point disappears briefly when you use it. Also if a burning respawn point is right before a jump in the intro and you hold Right to move the Jump button doesn't always work and you instantly fall even though you pressed Jump. Also you get punished again by the disappearing respawn point moving you further back....
