Hello high rollers!

The update you (may) have been waiting for has arrived! With this update there are new visuals, a new unlock system, harder difficulty, bug fixes, and a few new surprises! Let's dive in!

We have brand new capsule art from the awesome Xilerus[xilurus.carrd.co]! Really excited to have him give some life to our mascot, Nuggie. With the new art I also was inspired to incorporate Nuggie into the game a bit more. About that...

Diecast now features a reworked tutorial that walks you through the first sector of the game. You can still lose, but only if you try (or have the worst luck in the world). It introduces each element of the shop in an easier to digest manner. Again, if you're an old player you may not need it, but it definitely will help any new players out a ton. Would love some feedback if you think it needs more work!

Aaand back to our regularly scheduled content.

The game features a reworked UI to be clearer, larger, and juicier. Everything just looks better, from points to dice to cash! There's some tweaking to be done, so let me know if you see anything that looks off or could be improved.

Looks kinda bare, don't it? Well, you get the joy of discovering what's behind all these question marks for yourself! Some dice and pins hidden behind them may be familiar to you if you played the previous demo, but there are some new things in there to find.

I locked some previous dice and pins to make the experience easier for new players. There will be less options to start, and things should unlock fairly quickly. By unlocking one thing, you can see how to unlock the others around it. You may be able to unlock three or four different things in one run. Some may require a bit more playing (or math, or trickery) to figure out.

I hope you enjoy this new system to Diecast! The full game will have more, many more, unlocks. This just gives a taste of what to expect for the full release.

A new update is on the horizon (scans the horizon). Yep! That looks like an update alright! What's to come, you ask? Well, you get to find out TOMORROW!
But since you're here... I'll give a taste of what's coming...

This will be the final update for a while, as the game is about where I want it to be as a "vertical slice" you could say. It has been in the works for the past three months with (part time) work. Going forward, keep an eye out for playtests on Steam, and stay in touch in the Discord[discord.gg] for more info!
