Enginefall is set in a ravaged world where the rail network is humanity’s last refuge. While most live onboard colossal Titan Trains, some bold survivors have escaped to become Freerailers: nomads who roam the rails using their Dagger shuttle on a constant hunt for fuel and resources.

From 8-14 June, you will be able to join the open playtest, and from 11-22 June you will be able to play our demo in Steam Next Fest. 

Enginefall is still in development with new content being added every week. This playtest will focus on some of the core gameplay features including: 
- Early Version of the Connected Rail World 
- Titan Train Raids with 3 Different Train Variations 
- Early Dagger and Character Progression 
- Early Dagger Bases and Dagger vs Dagger Combat 

In the future you can expect to see many more features including: 
- The Fully Connected Rail World  
- More Train Variations, Carriage Variations, and Gameplay Experiences 
- More Guns, Items, Placeables, and Social tools 
- In-World Factions, Player Clans, and Social Features 
- More Long-Term Progression and Character Perks 
- Expanded Dagger vs Dagger, Player Owned Trains, and Persistent Titan Trains 
- 3+ Thematic Seasons per Year with Monthly Content and Balance Updates 
- New Environment Biomes and Excursions into the Ruined World 

This Playtest is one of our earliest tests of localization. These are not final translations, and you may see translation errors and UI issues. We are committed to delivering a high-quality localized experience for players around the world on launch.

Hey Freerailers,

During the Open Playtest, we’ll be hosting two developer livestreams on Twitch where we’ll be playing Enginefall, talking through the latest updates, and answering questions from the community.

Our first stream will be a shorter gameplay-focused stream. The second will be our main developer stream, featuring gameplay, Q&A, and interviews with members of the team.

We’ll be covering recent changes, answering community questions, and sharing what we’re keeping an eye on during the Open Playtest as players make their way through the Titan Trains.
