After going through 3 days leaving quite a bit of carnage behind me, I ended up back in the bedroom which was now green and had a brick in front of it. However, the door didn't open and I was not able to interact with anything and in the end had to quit. Is this intended or did I miss something?...

On the first day, I took the golden record with me throughout the house, until I got to the front door room. I tossed the record outside. Probably a bug because while I was holding the record, I just went all the way up to the front door until the record was outside the house and was able to just toss it down the outside path. Its an actual brick. And If you fail it rolls into the corner so you can't even retry because you can't reach it. So you have to restart the game.

Even with my sensitivity turned up 100% and my mouse on its highest setting, I'm constantly picking up my mouse just to turn 90 degrees. Any ideas?

As I was walking around the outside of the house I could faintly hear IKEA talking after a while but was unable to make out what was being said. I didn't have subtitles on as it was my second playthrough (after the first bugged out, so I hadn't yet made it out) and I'd had no issue with hearing anything before that. Yes I could have tried turning up my volume, but if there's going to be speech surely it should be audible even outside, at whatever volume I already have set?...
