Global Playtest Now Live! (Feb. 6th - Feb. 8th)

The global playtest for Scramble Knights Royale is live now!

Check your email for your key or click "Request Access" on the main store page if you haven't yet signed up! ↓↓↓

For returning NA players, you may not get an email but you should see "Scramble Knights Royale \[playtest]" in your Steam library and available to play.

Hello Knights! To join the playtest, be sure you requested access and then check your email for a Steam email which will let you know you can launch the game now. This will show up as "Scramble Knights Royale \[playtest]" in your Steam library. If you have gained access, you'll also have two invites so you can share the game with your friends!

This test will run from now until February 8th at midnight PST time. Only Solo Queue will be available for this test.Here are some highlights of what we've been working on since the last test:

Improved server/client performance which should mean lower network latency and higher FPS.
Pet companions - adopt a companion as a passive boost in place of the old ring system. You can visually see what pet and passive boost your opponents have.
No more teaming - turned off ability to squad up in solos.
A brand new, shinny tutorial!
A stat screen at the end of every round.
New environment stuff. More developments on castle area, deep forest, and more!
More balancing, features and tons of bug fixes.

Be sure to join our Discord[discord.gg] as well. We sometimes host private playtests there to get feedback on new features but you can also join just to chat about the game, talk to the developers (that's us), and get exclusive updates about Scramble Knights!

You can earn exclusive pre-launch cosmetic rewards for playing during the playtest. There will be at least once more chance to earn these rewards before launch for all players!

Here's a few things to look out for:

If your game crashes, please press the "BUG REPORT" button or let us know about the crash here on Steam or join our Discord[discord.gg] and report it there.
You can re-queue while your a chicken after death by pressing Y on controller or R on keyboard.
If you disconnect unexpectedly from a match, please click the "Got a bug?" button on the bottom of your screen and let us know what happened.
If you fall out of the world or get stuck while in a match, you can use the "Unstuck Me" option in the start menu.
If you run into any other general bugs (doors not opening, can't pick up items, can't attack, etc.) please use the "Got a bug?" button on the bottom of the screen and let us know what's happening.
If the game gives a "Device Not Found" error, you need to run the game in admin mode. To run in Admin mode via Steam: Right click the game in Steam -> Manage -> Browse Local Files -> Right Click ZR.exe and click "Run as Administrator".

Use the "Feedback" button in-game or just click here to fill the form out once you've played.[docs.google.com] We're making Scramble Knights Royale for our players, and the team really does go through all the feedback we receive to help inform development choices.

Length of play session and PVE

How long is a typical play session? In other battle royales, the type of games they are like fps or third person shooter lend to shorter more fast paced sessions like 15-20 minutes. How does this compare? Also, I already saw that you're focusing on PVP solo duo and trio queue as first priority, but I would also highly recommend having a well functioning mode where someone can play against the computer. You the devs are in a unique position with this game as it is a first in a genre. Battle royale, but iso...

This test is an early look at gameplay. We are still working on our networking and matchmaking, so expect some issues to occur while testing. This playtest will help us identify issues so we can have a smooth launch!

Dungeons may not spawn objects and enemies correctly, we are working on a fix for this!
