Hi I like this game but on my modern pc win11 it crashes too much, and almost always (or defacto always) when closing the unit detail panel in combat, so it is not my PC, its a game bug. Anyone familiar with below exceptionm and knows a workaround? Is it worth trying to resolve this, or this game is simply not guaranteed to run on all modern pc/os, and better to move to aow4? Hello there. For the audience still interested in this game, an unofficial patch has been released. This unofficial mod patch addresses many of the bugs still present in the game. It does only that. By reading the change log, you will be surprised how many bugs are still in the game. For clarity all version of the mod patch will be referred as V.1 and forward due to reasons that this patch do update game files, but does not make any updates to interface where last patch still say "v1.802" which confused...

idk what it is but every time i try to get into 4 when a new DLC comes out I get into the first combat and it just feels... \: not right. the stats on the units, how much health they have, how far they move, how much damage the units do to eachother, how the camera moves... the first time my melee unit knuckles up to an archer and smacks them, it makes me just want to be playing this instead, but it's so hard to describe why. how about just this; in 3 you can take over & annex a neutral NPC dragon's nest ...
