Linux build will need more time to diagnose unfortunately - but will be back up as soon as possible.

Photo mode is being saved for the first content update - this is an early QOL update fixing stuff.

Thank you so much for all the feedback and support over the past week!!! It's been nice reading through it all.

I'm writing this to let Linux users know that I have had to (temporarily) disable the Linux build and instead enforce running the Windows build through Steam Proton, which has been tested and should fully work with zero tangible differences.

I've had to do this as I've been receiving reports of the native Linux build refusing to open - I'm not sure what's causing this problem as it opens fine on my main CachyOS Linux machine, but every Linux user I've heard from has reported issues with the demo not opening (which is fixed by switching to the Windows build via Proton).

I'm currently working with Steam to see if this is a problem on their end or my end - the native Linux build was fine for me during development but I guess something changed with the launch of the demo.

This change is not permanent, and a Linux build will be back up as soon as the issue is figured out & resolved - hopefully by the time 1.1.0 is up.

On the topic of 1.1.0 - here's some of the planned changes:

• Viewmodel Opacity Lower setting

• Camera Smoothing

• Custom item outline colors

• Tweaked balancing (not by too much)

• plus various bugfixes & more!

Thank you all for trying out the demo, and I hope you guys will enjoy the changes 1.1.0 will bring to the game - it will be the last demo build for a short period, as I'm busy with some real life happenings. I shouldn't be away too long though and intend to have 1.1.0 up within the next day or so!

Don the Trespasser's vessel and contain rogue machines through fast point & click gameplay. Dash through facilities, manage limited resources, and end a grim epidemic deep below ground.

• CAMPAIGN: Enter the beginning of the campaign, and survive dark caverns & facilities filled with hazards, traps, and obstacles.

• NAVIGATION: Master a unique movement system that blends frantic point & click survival with fast crawler-like movement. Dash between rooms and continuously adapt to your environment and nearby enemies. Route your path through dynamic level elements and plan your moves.

• RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: Keep a close eye on your ammo and sector power. Fuel the facility's generators to keep various systems & lights powered on.

• ABILITIES & PERKS: Empower your vessel with abilities and perks, constructed in The Hub from scrap you obtain through combat encounters.

• HUB: Return to a safe space after beating a level and upgrade your equipment, equip tools and view player stats.

• SCORES & TIMES: Compete against other trespassers for the best times and scores on level leader-boards, viewable in the pause menu. 

• LORE: Discover abandoned disks containing details of XANNI-CORP and its machines.

• COLLECTIBLES: Find secret items to keep in your hub.

• CONTROLS: Use fast & simple controls on multiple input methods:

  • Keyboard & Mouse (adapts to keyboard layout)

  • Controller

  • Mouse Only

The demo is not limited-time, and will receive patches & small content updates up until the full game launch, which will (hopefully) be before the end of this year.

Thank you everyone for your extended patience and support throughout the delays. It took a bit longer than I initially anticipated to finish the demo, but I think the extra time was needed and I'm very happy with how it's turned out.
