The Animation Update

Multi-Frame Animations

Level 6 of Barely Working now has multi-frame animations for all sex scenes.

Our team has been working tirelessly to bring y'all new animations for the Open Floor level of Barely Working. As stated previously, we do not plan to go backwards and animate previous levels as that would require too much work. Instead, we are focusing on new levels and we will continue to create animations.

If you enjoy the animations, please leave a comment below! All positive and negative feedback is shared with the team and we strive to make the game better.

Easy Mode

We have added an "Easy Mode" toggle in the options menu. If you would like to breeze through the levels with no stress, feel free to toggle this option on. The timer for the levels will be paused and you can read and enjoy the dialogue without having to worry about time.

What are we working on next?

Level 7, the lesbian level, will take place in a theater room. The theme will be that Candace's company is hosting a conference and Candace is in charge of operating the lights to make sure they're always on the presenter (yes there will be some gameplay elements involved). Meanwhile, Candace's horny colleagues will come visit her. This level will only have women, no men.

We'll need some time to animate this level, so in the meantime we're working on Level 5 - Wednesday.

Level 5 - Wednesday will be about Candace's great great great great great great great... uhhh great grandmother named Clarice. She runs a tavern and, as expected, her guests are free to use her body as they please. This will be a fun medieval-themed level!

can't make any progress

I’m stuck on the second level. the progress bar for the coworkers just wont go up and just feezes me so i cant continue the level. any ideas?

Cat Cafe & What's Next?

Barely Working 19.0.0 introduces the Cat Cafe level! Candace will be going around making boba tea for her colleagues, all while cats roam around the office!

What's Next?

We're working on adding more frames to the Open Floor level's animations. As of right now we just have 2, but people liked the animations so much that we're working on adding more frames.

Our next, most highly requested, feature is lesbian content. So we are brainstorming ideas for a new level where there could also be women who approach Candace.

If you guys have any other ideas please leave a comment! We're trying to make this game the best it can be!

Barely Working Now on Steam!

Barely Working is now available as Early Access on Steam!

Thank you so much for your patience. We contacted Steam and they notified us that we are able to release Barely Working as early access. This has shifted our focus entirely because now we are going to be working on more levels for you!

Level 6 & Animations

We have released a new level and we are experimenting with 2 frame animations. In this new level, Candace is working in an open office floor plan instead of a cubicle. Her colleagues will be having sex with her right in front of everyone else! (As if they don't, already!)

Level 3 - Thursday

We also finished the domme outfit for Level 3! In this level she will be rewarding the sales team only if they make enough money! Good boys get good rewards!

What's Next?

We're gonna be working on more levels for Barely Working, but we'd love your feedback on the new level first. Do you guys like the animations? Do you guys want to see anything more? Let me know and I'll try our best. I know people have been asking for lesbian scenes so I'll work on that next.

This isn't the most complicated game, however, I do find it fun! It's not too difficult and just a good time, though I am left a little concerned for how much the company seems to have to rely on poor Candace, maybe she will get a vacation soon without her co-workers pawing at her while she's just trying to do her job.

Stand out note:
The easy mode turns off the timer
>While I was able to play with the timer running being able to turn it off and mess around is really nice and good accessibility for those who don't want to have to worry about the balance between work and fun while playing or those who just struggle with this kind of game, shockingly great accessibility feature I didn't expect to see here. Good job devs!

I downloaded this game like earlier today and then I started to play it, but later on it just kept on saying that my Driver's were not up to date. Which is impossible, because I just updated everything. So, maybe it's the game because I can run all my other games just fine....

Clean Up/Safety Tools?

This might be real dumb, but would you consider adding sex safety items to the backgrounds? Condoms, lube, lotions etc. I feel like it would make sense to include, especially for a "free use" kink game. Just my two cents
