I am wondering why the game wont handle higher resolutions

new Divinity game was announced by Larian and it's gonna be sooooo dark

Hi I have a problem that my character has started moving very slowly. It happened after I fought with one of the Trolls and he put some kind of slowing effect on me. I saved during the battle, because I couldn't defeat him on the first attempt, and after loading this save, I started moving very slowly. As if this effect had been preserved forever! And I just can't get rid of this condition. Healing potions don't help, sleeping in bed doesn't help, reboots don't lead to anything, and the character doesn't...

Any way we can enlarge the font size (and in genereal the gui elements perchance) on Linux Steam version of the game? I see there is a patch but that requires running .bat on Windows which I can not do.

Having trouble getting the game to work on a dual monitor setup, for some reason the game only appears in the bottom right hand corner and cuts off half of the screen. Anyone have a fix?
