Is there any reliable way to tell if I took chip damage without the HUD? Is it just a sound cue, or is there something else I should be looking for? I also tried using the one-hit modifier to test this, but it doesn’t seem consistent. Hits during combos don’t always kill immediately, and chip damage doesn’t appear to trigger it the same way, so it’s not a reliable way to confirm.
