I press play and it just stays like that and nothing happens and button turns to "play" again. Is there a fix?

Just bought this on sale, no master server list is coming up. Is there a way to fix this, or is it completely dead online? Thanks

This game's multiplayer mode is really fun and would be even better with more players. Yesterday, I joined 188.122.80.81:27025 and found 1 player, Slim Shady, if you read this, add me.
