how much is the game?

so if the game isnt highlighted in blue, how do you update to the latest patch? does it update as you start your game?

I am playing Seven Seas for the first time. In both Tutorial and Standard game, I am hitting the same bug at the market place. I place an order for a commodity. It completes the transaction, debits my gold. However, it does not place the commodity on my boat. I sail away, and it does not show any goods on my ship. Of note: there is a lock in front of all the commodities. I don't know what that lock was designed to indicate. Should I have not been able to buy it?...

Is this game still actively supported? I bought the game and gave it back as it had too many bugs even for a Early access. But I hoped It will find its way. Are there no updates anymore? Is the development stopped?

Why is it impossible to buy goods in the market? I see my gold gets reduced but the goods arent with my fleet. And what button lets you collect floatsom? I barely saw the button clear enough to dock in another port. And how do you pause the game instead of running up the clock while in port?...
