I can get to the main menu (although it's just a black screen behind the "Play/Options/Help/Quit" buttons, not sure if that's normal), but when clicking "Play", all I get is a black screen forever. I left it for half an hour and it never changed and the game never started. I've verified files, disabled anti-virus, etc....

Is there an end to this game? It is boring repeating the same thing and not getting anywhere

Do ore nodes respawn in this game? Is it possible to run out of locations that can be mined? Can the game be played endlessly?

So after getting you ship stolen and being forced to start a new base is that all there is to the content? because im not able to upgrade the new base or even add refineries or greenhouses etc... or am i suppose to just go back to the starting base?

I see the game is being updated, but what is changing? New stuff being added?
