Zenkcraft is a modern spellcraft templating program that offers both a Legacy and Remastered version. Zenkcraft was originally made back in March of 2019 and previously existed as a free to download software but I have made tons of updates and enhancements with the feedback received.

Minor Fixes and Improvements

Another round of updates and improvements. Thanks everyone for reporting issues and requests!

Fixed the "Spellcraft Report" and "Template Summary" being flipped in the options menu.
Fixed templates not loading because of certain numeric character references in the XML templates (some people's computer write "" or "
" in the notes section of the file which fails to make it load).
Templates with the same templateId will now appear in the list of templates. This was causing some templates to not appear on people's list.
Templates with invalid characters were able to be uploaded to the server, causing people to have a save error when importing.
Added a few text updates and direction clarifications.

The new template server is performing well and there are already over 120 templates across Eden and Blackthorn. Thanks to the community for re-uploading your templates.

Sometime later this year, I will take update and new feature requests for Zenkcraft. I did this a little over a year ago and it went very well. I will keep everyone updated on this.

Zenkcraft Template Server Restored

The online template server has been restored for Zenkcraft. Everything will work as previous going forward. However, the database has been reset and will need to be repopulated by the community.

The fix is only for Zenkcraft Remastered. The Legacy version of Zenkcraft will no longer support an online database option.

Updates for this release:

The online database has been restored for Zenkcraft Remastered (Legacy Zenkcraft Database is permanently discontinued). All templates have been deleted.
The delete functionality now works for the online server. Click the trash can in the list of templates. The trash can only appears for templates uploaded with your steam id.
Fixed the hover window sometimes being sized incorrectly when it pops up.

This server change development happened very quickly in order to reduce downtime, so please report any unexpected issues.

The Zenkcraft database had grown to be very large and needed to be cleaned up. Although I would have preferred manually cleaning up the templates, the full reset is an opportunity to populate the server with fresh templates.

The new online server that Zenkcraft is built on should be more reliable going forward. It will also contain daily backups so that services can be restored quickly if something happens. This new server is a good long-term solution and I am happy about the change, however I wish I would have more notice before the server went offline.

Zenkcraft Template Server Unavailable

Unfortunately the server Zenkcraft uses will not be available anymore and I am having to face the tough challenge of rebuilding my template server elsewhere. This will take some time to find something that is scalable, affordable, reliable, and quick to implement.

Several Discord servers have pinned Zenkcraft templates for each class, so there are still resources available for templates.

Program not responding.

Zenkcraft will not start up and I get the message "Program not responding". I have tried all the possible issues offered in the help but it will not open. Please advise. Thank you.

wrong imbue amount

99% quality level 51 items do not have 37.5 points of imbue (32 + 5.5 overcharge). 99% quality level 51 items have 33.5 points of imbue (28 + 5.5 overcharge). it is not calculating right.

Can't find a level requirement setting or filter

Hi! Just got this software and is busy creating an item data pool. I've noticed (or failed to find) a section for filtering by minimum level requirement in the vault which can make it rather tedious when templating for anything that's not a level 50. At the same time, when creating items, there is a "Level" section for the item however this seems to be intended as the items level, not level requirement, which are two completely different things. I might be missing something somewhere which isn't impossi...

Issues exporting characters

I am attempting to create a character summary export for a template but every time I click export it just gets hung on "creating" under the export button. This is with the remastered version. Filepath attempting to write to is C:\Users\{me}\Documents\Zenkcraft\ I've had no issues with this until today and have exported many templates in the past. Any thoughts to fix?...
