New Demo Now Available!

Way back in 2022, I released a demo for Sunken Realms here on Steam. Shortly thereafter I was hired full-time to work on another game, and Sunken Realms got put on the backburner. But now Sunken Realms is back and way better than ever before. I have learned quite a lot in four years and I think the demo proves that. It is a night and day difference from what it was way back then.

I'm also happy to announce that Sunken Realms will be a part of Steam Next Fest in a few weeks. So if any of you guys are streamers or know any streamers, please reach out. I would love to get some more exposure.

And don't worry, it won't be another four years this time. I plan to release the full game in a few short months. Stay tuned!

Some demo critiques/thoughts

Context: While I do like and occasionally play action-RPGs/Dungeon Crawlers, I mostly play FPS and roguelikes. Hence, a lot of my critiques are on the technical side of what I played. I did get through the first level of the dungeon entirely, successfully clearing everything out and unlocking both locked doors. feedback on the demo

After trying the demo on the STEAM Deck with the dock and having a mouse/keyboard and PS4 gamepad, both ways pf playing was a miserable essay. The worst was the gamepad as most command did not work even if I tried to set my own commands. I couldn't even have one of them actually fight. The keyboard was a little bit better but still lacking. For exemple, the T for targeting only worked sometimes. And many keys only worked once out of two tries. The first time I launched the game, I went into a dungeon to s...

Interesting game

Early stage game, A little rough around the edges but with improvements This game could show some definite promise, nice graphics, decent music, needs an auto map, and a paper doll inventory would be nice, all in all a game to keep an eye on.
