Small graphical update and bug fix

In this latest update we have enabled the casting of shadows from the sun/moon which should make the game look a bit less static. Due to the game being made for standalone the steam version has taken a hit in terms of graphics but we are trying to find ways to re-enable parts of the rendering system without causing huge optimisation problems.

Fixed a bug where players were spawning in halfway through the first level.

This update pushes Venture's Gauntlet to full release

Improvements

Two New Maps: A new ObstaCorp Hub World and Stage 9 for a grand finale.
Incredible new slow motion mechanic for nailing dramatic jumps and avoiding turret blasts.
Improvements to turret gunners with new detection/voice system.
New story featuring Adam Venture, the crazy billionaire behind ObstaCorp and Venture's Gauntlet
More checkpoints added and maps split into nine stages of 15 mins length each.
Polish Improvements on climbing, archery, ziplines, shield summoning, and more.
Cross platform leaderboard update for playing with friends and doing competitions.
Improved Tutorial and full EFIGS+ JA/KO/ZH localization options

We will be pushing another update this week with some PC VR specific graphics improvements to turn back on shadows and boost the graphics level higher. In the future we hope to make some more new PC VR specific maps as well where we can really push the graphics, that is our dream as game devs.

Huge thank you to the PCVR community who supported our early access release, we hope to continue to support this title and add more content as it's been our dream to make the most intense obstacle course experience you can have in VR!

So, let me start with, I love the new demo. I logged in to do the old one, only to be surprised with a whole new setup and map. I love the new obstacles, such as lasers and ducking, and like the terrain as well. Seeing deer/elk sitting around grazing, beautiful scenery, and even a castle, was really fun. The only issue I'm running into, and it may be user error. Running functions differently than it used to. I will pump my arms the same way as I did in the original demo, and I stutter walk. I think this game is abaondoned.

All the posts are from last year, the bug fixes that were mentioned to be fixed or worked on were never updated or worked on. The index controllers, the controllers to the platform you uploaded your game on, DO NOT WORK!! They are still facing the wrong way in game, I couldn't even move or do anything to finish the first part of the tutorial after calibrating. I am going to refund this game and it sucks because I was really looking for a challenge. I may also report this game as dead and abandoned becaus...
