Another big Abglantz Demo update is finally here!

Version 2025.02 (Halloween update)

Too many changes to list...

some highlights:

- custom resolution option

- made window position saveable

- fixed and improved some water interactions

- zombies (yellow guys) will now resurrect

- user interface improvements (some pictograms)

- performance improvement

- medium difficulty should be a bit more forgiving

- improved blood effects

- new tutorial section for combat

- added new endless mode! (get a new orb and weapon after a few rounds!)

- much more...

Feedback for the Halloween demo

Okay so first of all the demo says that there are 3 NEW levels, including the tutorial. Its just that I dont see the 2 old levels? One of the old ones had an enemy type that I did not see in this demo. I finished the old Demo in EXTREME difficulty. On this one I just wanted to see the game quickly, so I played it in NORMAL difficulty. Anyways I have ALOT of opinions on this game for some reason. Another big Abglantz Demo Update is finally here! Version 2025.1.

Too many changes to list...

some highlights:

- lots of user experience improvements (gui, sound, etc.)

- some visual improvements (maps, effects)

- gibs cause blood effects

- option to keep decals permanently (even saved)

- fixed a bad bug that could resize menus to zero

- new headshot system (certain weapons only, try the minigun)

- much more

Feedback for the second Halloween demo

The new demo mostly features a survival/endless mode. I do not think there is something all wrong with it, but I think there should be more incentive to play it and possibly a way to heal without having to consume the pick-ups. It is not a bad addition to the game despite of this. The new gun seems pretty nice with the zoom-in, but its better at a distance and will probably be more useful in the campaign levels to surprise an enemy. first impressions and feedback

Hi, I played a bit of the demo and have some thoughts. First off, the vibe, the soundscape and visuals are spot on, love it. Everything else needs a lot of work though. So I only played a very short time but I think those first few minutes are crucial because they will determine if people keep playing or not. My first impression was that the game has sort of an identity crisis - I expected a horror themed Quake style shooter but the gameplay is not exactly there. The shotgun in the demo is ridiculously loud!

The sound has massive clipping, I had to lower the volume all the way down to 0.1 before it would stop blasting my eardrums. The game in general seems to be loud, but the shotgun is so much more. I don't know if it's something to do with my computer or what, as watching gameplay videos of the demo the shotgun volume seems to be fine. I'm running the game on Windows 8....

Any news on this?

Despite the huge flaws of this demo I am actually still semi-excited about this game. I know I am an minority player here but the ATMOSPHERE of this game. It is something I dont find elsewhere.
