...because this ain't it. Don't abuse the term to fit your game. It's frustrating when trying to find a new metroidvania to play and games that are not metroidvanias clutter the search results.

I'm having an issue where the game freezes when loading a particular location or two. Twice, it happened when I tried riding one of those bees to the magenta forest (I think that's what the frog guy called it at least). Another door that I found across a valley where you fight a spider boss next to a dead giant robot guy (man, this game is wonderfully weird), the game kept freezing on the loading screen when I tried going though that door....

Shooting is very unsatisfying at the moment. This is due to the lack of a noticeable sound effect; camera being too fast while shooting; no other effects such as camera shake. I would also appreciate more control over the height of my jumps (as opposed to a single tap taking me to the max height). The tendrils that hurt you blend in with the environment (having the exact same color as some rocks). Getting hurt by them felt unfair.
