Greetings,

The Praesidium campaign is nearing completion and will be entering the testing phase soon. With the release of the new campaign around the corner, I need to announce an unfortunate side-effect of the coming update.

I have overhauled the game saving system and corrected some sloppy references behind the scenes within the project. While the overall impact will be good, it will have a negative effect as well.

The good side...

In the future, your saved games will be stored in APPDATA under an Endeavor folder, which will bring it in line with similar save systems used in other games. This will have a few very positive effects...

The save file can now easily be backed up or transferred between hard drives or PCs.
The saving process is now more efficient and will complete more quickly within the game. The save script has also been enhanced to allow for additional mission objective types to be saved correctly.
The save file is now more easily accessed and edited if you desire to.

The bad side...

Saved settings will be reset to defaults.

Previously saved games will no longer be accessible to load in-game. I tried to convert the old file type into the new format with a script, but unfortunately due to other unrelated but necessary reference updates, this will not be possible.

So... finish those games before the next big content patch! I will give plenty of notice before the next patch is released.

Here is a peak at some mission maps from the new campaign. The average map size has increased over 40%.

Saves Gone - New PC

I got a new laptop, and backed up the install on my old computer, and restored from backup on the new laptop, but my saves are still gone. I looked in AppData, the game folder, and Program Data, but I'm not seeing a save file. Where would I find it?

Progress Update - Praesidium Campaign

Hi All,

It has been a while since my last patch, so I thought I would drop a little update on what I am currently working on. I am currently focused on building and testing the new Praesidium campaign!

I have some specific goals in mind, but I would also love to hear your feedback. Do you have any suggestions for improvements or maybe some things that you liked from the Endeavor campaign that you would like to see more of? I still have plenty of time to incorporate your feedback into the next campaign.

Creating the environments for the new missions is very exciting and I would like to share a few screenshots that illustrate the scale and vibe of the new content.

This campaign will pick up where the last left off, but it will now be from the perspective of Praesidium who are reeling from the Endeavor victories over their forces and are looking to regroup and regain control. The Yari faction will play a greater role this time around and maybe just maybe, might have a story of their own to tell in the future.

A couple of things to note for future content releases...

Praesidium campaign is the focus right now until it is complete.
I want to acknowledge the save game functionality is of poor quality and needs to be replaced with something more efficient and effective. This will be my priority following the campaign. I have attempted to improve the current save system a few times, but I may need to fully replace it.
Multiplayer will be addressed after that. Endeavor is at its heart meant to be a singleplayer experience. Units are balanced for a competitive skirmish experience, but super-powers and experimental units are not balanced. So, I will start by implementing an experimental co-op multiplayer experience with peer-to-peer direct to IP connections. This will limit who you can play with, but it is just a starting point. A 1v1 PvP will follow that.
Beyond that is hard to predict, but I do plan on revisiting the Endeavor campaign to apply some of the lessons learned, add more 1v1 and 2v2 skirmish maps, release new tower defense missions, enhance and optimize the UI, enhance the lighting and sound design, and eventually as I hinted above... explore the campaign potential of the Yari faction. Some of these will likely be squeezed in between other larger content releases.

Fix - Desert Plains (1v1) scale

- Reduced scale of new 1v1 map
- Size of update is due to some Praesidium campaign content being included, even though it is not currently accessible. The campaign will be unlocked once it is complete and all pieces have been added to the live version.

DLSS and/or FSR implementation?

Is there any way to implement DLSS (framegen) and/or FSR into the game? I'd love to see how it better performs when using these techniques for RTX 30/40/50XX cards and of course for AMD. Let me know. I upped a video yesterday about the extreme changes in framerate when playing it at 4k resolution. Another question, I tried to set up endeavour.exe into nvidia profile inspector, but it keep saying that the app is already being used at Aliens Fireteam Elite. Is there also a way to change the name/exe file so...

The attack move menu disappeared after latest patch

When selecting large amount of units the attack move menu disappeared at the bottom. Also units now just move without shooting, platoons getting mowed down by one enemy unit.

1.will there be any major updates to the ui or art? 2. Will there be unique building animations for each faction? 3. In terms of the next major update what is planned for it? 4.
