I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it all done in one run... Help please!!

I'm having a really had time figuring out how to get everything in level 3-13 (lava world) in one run. No matter how I reconfigure it, I'm always short by one button or a couple rails. I've noticed that if I collect the treasure chest, it stays open, and that I can get 100% completion on the level by splitting it into two runs. Is this level possible in just one?...

For some reason I can't collect the skin from the treasure chest in level 4-05 (Winter). Here's my setup: https://i.imgur.com/y4ct8tx.png Originally I was going to the chest before collecting the key, though I don't think that matters. I switched it around to collect the key first, just in case, but the chest still won't open. I can't see any other way to approach that room, it has to be a straightaway into a bumper/stopper ("Redirection Rail")....
