I've had the game for a bit but haven't really played it, finally got around to changing that and ive been thoroughly enjoying it so far. One thing I cant figure out though and a glance through the manual hasn't helped either but what do I do with space stations. Its just sitting on my planet collecting dust for the last 10 or so turns. They're immobile, I cant seem to launch it and I cant load it on a transport either (the latter makes sense lol) did I screw something up?...

One of the discussion items at the height of the modding efforts for SE5 had been creating new planet types, species and unique mechanics. Sadly the source code was not made available nor will it ever be. Stellaris has become, what I think, is the spiritual successor to SE5 as it has surpassed Galactic Civilizations. Sadly, it is moddable but infinitely harder to do and it has a huge price barrier when you look at the quantity of DLCs that have been released (total price is upwards of roughly $300 USD+)....
