Tell us what party composition you opted to play through the game with! =)

So, I've finished the game (got Almighty Badge) and Im pretty sure i read every book and talked to everyone. The problem is I did this over a long time, and I am horrible with names. I probably forgot a bunch of stuff i found in books because of that and have been having trouble piecing it all together, so that when the game ended, I didn't quite understand what had happened. I am also not the smartest tool in the shed. My question is about the lore and story of the setting and characters. So...

OK so I got the grail and found the warp to the next area under the dirt behind the sorceress house, but the next area seems insanely hard both outside and in the basement of the house you warp into, also I got a magic shield that seems really good, like nerfs attack into the ground but a huge boost to int, just feels like I'm missing something?...

I have a 2 melee fighters 1 healer and one magic user. is that a good setup? also what magic class is best i have a wiseman but does he ever get some single hit spells?
