A cute, quick indie game with basic mechanics and some rather questionable art. It sits somewhere between an auto battler and an endless runner, with far less actual gameplay. There isn't much to do besides playing cards, which cost gold. Gold is earned from monsters and chests. There are permanent upgrades to unlock. None of it is of much consequence. The art style for the titular waifus while playing the game is kawaii anime, which is decidedly not my cup of tea. The monsters and level backgrounds have a decent enough pixel art look to them. The "gallery" art is outright gooner bait. I find it to be completely awful. With that said, the game is 79 cents on sale. It will manage to provide 79 cents worth of entertainment. Weirdly, a couple of the trading cards this game drops cost more than the game itself, even when it's not on sale(!) I blame the gooners and Valve's infamously bad RNG.

TL;DR: If the sale price and one's expectations are sufficiently low, My Waifu Guild is worth it.
