Demo Update

11 Mar

Hi everyone! We’ve just pushed a small update to the HexaDome demo.

New: Champion Play Order

You can now choose the order in which your champions will act during the deployment phase.
Use the buttons or keyboard shortcuts to move them earlier or later in the turn order before the match starts.

Balance Change

8-Ball

Defense reduced by 1
Attack damage reduced by 1

Tactic Cards

The “Adamantine” and “Go On!” tactic cards have now been fully removed from teams that still had them after their removal from Maximus and 8-Ball’s tactic rosters.

Spectator Mode

We’ve added a spectator mode in Duel Mode. This will mainly be used for upcoming tournaments.

Tournament of the Strongest!

We’re excited to announce a tournament featuring the top 15 players from the Infinity: HexaDome Tactics demo! The top-ranked competitors will battle for the championship title and attractive prizes.

Next Fest Demo Update

Hey everyone!

Hexadome Tactics is participating in the Steam Next Fest, and since the last major update, we also made some minor changes. We polished the gameplay, fixed bugs and improved UI.

Here's the list of changes:

Updated All Character Portraits
Sponsor page update with New Tactic Cards Visuals
Duel page UI has been updated. Player team is now displayed in the background.
Campaign dialog UI has been updated.
Timeline Visuals have been updated. Timeline is now displayed in the top left.
Champions' skills are now separated from Champion's card. They appear at the bottom center of the screen.
Timer Visual has been updated.
Event Log is now more discreet.
Tweaked Tactics size and position (in game).
Ultimate Cards Visuals have been updated.

Gameplay

Overwatch is not triggered anymore when an opponent uses an ability, but only when they move.
Controller support has been polished.
Some Tactic Effect have been adjusted for balancing.

Visuals

Lighting in Menu has been updated.
New animations for Campaign Dialogs.
New VFX and icon for Overwatch.
Hype icon replaced by draw tactic icon.
Hide some Character VFX during cutscenes.

Bug Fixes

Fixed bugs in EventLog.
Jokers now correctly appear as extra armor.
Fixed some Effects (Skills and Tactics) texts.
Fixed a bug where free attack Tactic was being considered as played when it should not.
Fixed Portrait color issue in Ability cutscene UI.
Fixed some UI element being very low quality when playing with Low Textures settings.
Fixed Quests where player needed to gain Hype.
Fixed controller navigation in some menus.

Game is terrible, here's like 20 reasons why.

- First, devs lieing about being angry their marketing firm used AI when the ingame ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ announcer is obviously AI is such a red flag, oh my god. Oh and 8Ball literally looks like a bad AI meme face but they somehow thought that would be okay. When you use AI you need to still have an eye for art to understand what isn't good. - For a tactics game, it picked hex tactics for some demented reason. Maybe they missed the part that that hex tactics are deeply unpopular and only civilization is complex en...

This is a Fun Game!

Game moves quickly and involves a lot of strategy. I think it feels much smoother than the last iteration. Of the games in this tabletop style, this seems the most polished. I hope this game sticks around.

I miss Atlas Reactor... will definitely play this, hoping this will have taunts and be F2P as well.
