Yesterday a new update went live. Before I get into what it includes, I'd first like to thank everyone who played the demo over the past period, as well as those who left feedback or posted video walkthroughs on YouTube. I was able to gather a lot of useful information, which also led to this update.

After rolling out more than 50 new updates on Steam, Sketchy Fables keeps getting more complete.

Update details:

- Frequency hints: visual explanations at totem poles and at locations where your butterfly frequency changes something in the world.

- Esc no longer freezes the main menu.

- Several new NPCs.

- The dark spirit NPC's walk animation now works.

- When the player dies, there's now an animated Memento mori transition with a growing flower that represents the player's rebirth.

- A visual hint above some enemies that lets the player know headshots are possible.
