I bought Dark Deity because it says it's Steam Deck verified and seems like a great game to play on deck. Got through the opening dialogue, started the first battle, and the controls stopped working. Sticks, buttons, track pads, nothing registered, except the touch screen which I used to exit the game.

OK, maybe it's a bug or glitch, something rare. I verified the files and tried again. Same results. I went to the game discussions and there are a few threads trying to get answers, unsuccessfully, for all sorts of problems on Steam Deck. I haven't seen a dev response on any one of those threads, which is shameful behavior for an indie dev.

Sorry, it might be a great game. But I can't recommend something I can't play and it shouldn't be verified if it won't run on deck.
