No matter what, the ball never lands on the ramp. I have sensitivity up to max for fastest swing, but no matter what, it never goes far enough. Please help

Hi, Around hole 8, the golf ball saw me and I should've died, although he randomly turned away and started walking in a different direction as if nothing happened. I proceeded to play on, only to soon discover that I could no longer place golf balls on the holes. I assumed this was because the game thought I should be dead, and so proceeded to kill myself to reset. However, upon reset, I was placed at the beginning of the game and my score had been completely wiped. I was still not able to place balls to ...
