April brings new magic to Kitori Academy! 🌷

We've been working hard these past months, brewing tons of new features and improvements for Kitori Academy. The magic is starting to come alive!

🌱Greenhouse and botanic classroom🌱

Little by little, we’re filling the Academy with classrooms, hidden rooms, hallways, and exciting secrets waiting to be discovered.

Our latest addition? The Greenhouse! 🌿✨ This is where players will dive into the world of crops, plants, and harvesting. Just like the other classrooms, it will have:

🕰️ Scheduled Classes – Attend at the right time to participate!
👩‍🏫 A Dedicated Teacher – Ready to guide you through your botanical journey.
🎁 Fun Rewards! – Expect seeds, buffs for your crops, and other surprises.

✨NPC Schedule✨

One of the most overwhelmingly popular requests from our community has been to make the academy's students feel truly alive, creating a more immersive and vibrant world for players to explore.

For the past months, we have been working on the NPC system to make the Apprentices NPC feel like real people walking. So, for this huge task, we've added a few more exciting things:

✨They have their schedules during the day; they have a stack of behaviours that are selected depending on the weather, the day of the week and other conditions.

🗣️They can also interact with other NPCs and talk among themselves (just like in real life!)

🪑They also do other things, such as sitting on benches and leaning on walls.

We hope to have this system more refined and show you a little video of how it looks. For now, you can look at these pictures; we use those dummies to simulate these behaviours and save them in memory but don't worry, they will become proper NPCs when the player is around!

🌟Miscellaneous Updates!🌟

NPCs now appear in class cinematic when players decide to start a class to keep up with their magical studies!

We've added 4 new crops, but as you can observe in the picture, they are not regular crops; we enjoy taking vegetables and fruits and giving them a little twist.
In the following picture, we have crops that could resemble berries, turnips and peppers.
Currently we have a mixture of special and regular crops!

Refunds

So, are you going to offer refunds to all your backers for the game we were promised years ago? Every time someone asks for updates it's just "we're working on it." You either didn't make your deadlines, or are BSing your backers. Which one is it?

Happy New Year, everyone😊!

We've been busy busy this past month, adding tons of new cool things to Kitori Academy. The game is looking great!

🎭Unexpected Events🎭

We are implementing a new exciting gameplay feature, Unexpected Events!

This has always been in the game, but it needed some integration with the rest of the game systems. We are also creating content for this feature, the UI, and 3D assets, which is progressing very well.🎨🛠️
These unexpected events will involve casting spells✨🔮 crafting, little demons... you will see.👀
It is going to be very fun to play!

📚🌟New interiors🌟📚

We are also creating study rooms to place at the Academy. These rooms are secondary and not required for the main story, but they give the Academy a vivid touch. 🎨🎓 Plus, these new interiors play a key role in Unexpected Events.

🔮🌟Potion Classroom Gets a Magical Makeover🌟🔮

Alongside the new rooms, we've been improving other areas of the Academy, making them performance-ready, improving graphics, and improving the overall look and feel.
The Potion Classroom has also changed, with improved graphics and a new layout.⚗️🌿

🏰Academy interiors, classrooms and tree plaza🏰

Happy August update, everyone😊!
For this blog, we will show lots of improved cool stuff.

🌟Improved academy interior🌟

For the past months, we've focused our efforts on implementing the class progression game feature. This important game mechanic will mostly happen at the academy, where you will attend various classrooms, such as the spell and potion class.

We've also been integrating this critical feature in the game and improving the academy look and field to better suit the gameplay.

Look at the video to get an idea of what the academy interior will look like in the game!

🌲Tree plaza improvements🌲

The other important area we've worked hard on is the plaza where the ancient tree rests. It has a new, fresh look and improved buildings.
The tree plaza is surrounded by other buildings where the classrooms are located, and it's the first thing you will see when you enter the academy through the apprentice town.
