Hi , I can't start a game of chronicle: unit eight, All I get is a black background and a cursor until i Alt-Tab out of the game. Please help somebody. Note I emailed the devs about 2 days ago and have not yet received a reply.

Hello all, I've been having trouble with a few things and thought I'd ask here for some help. 1. I've unlocked upgrades for other power ups but I've never seen them in Story mode. How do I use these? 2. I've unlocked bomb upgrades and have chosen bomb related perks but as of now I'm ship level 3 and have never seen a bomb pick up. I've also never had more than the bomb we start with. Is this normal for story mode? 3. I've unlocked Laser upgrades but have never been able to use it. Is it a pickup? 4. ...

I'm trying to figure out what the point of the "speed boost" power up is. So far, it seems to be the "trap" power up. In that it's not really a power up and meant to be avoided or something.
