Game just launches into the void. music plays, and sfx are playing as well but its on a soild black screen. anyone else having this issue?

This isn't an insult; Amazon to Walmart use their art style but a bit more simplistic than this if I'm honest. By all means why this art style, and who's teaching this style of art aesthetics, and why? I am wondering, and by all means if you like this art style I wanna know why, and how come this is only a recent thing happening....
