So, I don't have the time to play more of this - I'm going to be late for work as it is - but after blasting through the first few levels I'd... I'd say this is a keeper. It feels a lot like it could have been a Namco game from the glory days of the 8-bit processor. Smooth, great game kinesthetics, and the character design is just delightful. So yeah.
