Honestly this game is truly something, what a fantastic experience. I originally got this game through the EGS giveaway but I decided to buy it again on Steam since the devs really deserve it (+ an excuse to replay it again).

A rather simple premise at the start but the game has a very engaging story and great characters, all accompanied by a satisfying gameplay loop and an OUTSTANDING soundtrack (no joke, this might be one of the very best I've ever heard).

Like genuinely, every single one of the tracks in this game are an absolute joy to hear. Everything fits perfectly into the game and it's one of those perfect examples where the music really bumps the game into something else, there has been many times where I simply stopped by a bench to hear the town tunes a lil longer. Grahm Nesbitt really cooked with this one.

Other than that, the gameplay is a mix of fetch quests and dungeon crawling. Both are very entertaining and fun to do though I would wish there was a lil bit more of fighting, I think it would have been neat to see an endless mode like the Roguelite one Turnip Boy had in one of it's DLC's, just to use some of the end-game weapons... But at the same time by the end of the game I was satisfied with what I played and wanted to give the game a proper rest. For the more casual players, there are options to lower down the combat part of the game if you're only looking for the story content of the game.

Also this game has a really cool system for customising Concord's stats via their "memories". It's a pretty neat thing were you fulfill certain things and the game records a memory with that moment (and the game makes an actual screenshot, so it's unique for everyone). Really interesting system, was pretty fun to fill up the notebook.

And regards character customization, you can drip out Concord with some cool hats and backpacks you can find in every village shop. Very drippy.

My only slight issues with the game is that the end grind of Village levels (totally optional btw) can be a lil repetitive since you need lot's of points and it's annoying when you only get low-value quests or nothing for the day. Also there's a lot of equipment upgrades which is pretty cool, but unfortunately by the time you get them... They don't really have any use anymore. Story wise just a minor nitpick with some characters not really having enough presence (since I expected them to do after the demo and artwork tbh).

But honestly none of that really impacted negatively on my experience.

I really recommend this one, it's one of those hidden gems. Specially if you enjoy games like Earthbound, this one has been one of the few games that made me feel the same way as I did back when I played Earthbound for the first time.

Concord might not speak much, but they really manage to get you invested in their journey. What a silly lil' grape.

I really loved this cute world, the characters and the vibes, but unfortunately the game didn't really catch me and it didn't made me want to continue to play it. I still recommend it, because I'm sure that there are many people who will like and enjoy this game a lot. :) You should give it a try - it's a very cozy and relaxing game! :)
